2011 AALC Youth Conference Review
The ROCK Youth Group attended the 2011 AALC Youth Conference in Estes Park, Colorado in mid July. For those who want more details on the trip, talk to adult sponsors Pastor T & Cathy, David & Jeanene Skarshaug, Brigitte Gassman, Daniel Twito, and Allee Wengert. For even better information, talk to the youth: Jake Feddersen, Johannes Gassman, Shianne Junk, Emily Keigley, Cam & Cassie Krammer, Joe Kruger, Chandler Neumann, Zach Skarshaug, Nathan Twito, and Annee Wengert.
Specifically, ask them about the following trip highlights:
• Their dinner at Ole’s Big Game Steakhouse in Paxton, NE
• Their 1-night stay at the Sedgwick Antique Inn
• The showing of “The Church” video during Variety Hour
• Early morning Daniel Twito hike up the mountain
• Six “men” in polar plunge (see above hike)
• Lost boy (& little bro) Nathan Twito (see above hike)
• Speaker Bill Yonker & Lampost Theatre Company
• Singers Swen & Dean & The Praise Band
• The Wednesday Evening Communion Service
• Stage dives by Pastor T (a.k.a. “Twito”) & Rich Shields
• Their own personal testimonies of the trip
Above is a group shot participants in the 2011 AALC Youth Conference. (Most ALC kids are behind Carrot Top.)
